to Building Marina Optics
Syed Anwar grew up in Chennai and trained as an optometrist at the prestigious Government Ophthalmic Hospital, Egmore — one of the oldest eye care institutions in South India. He spent his days treating patients at the hospital and his evenings learning the trade at his father's optical shop.
After years of honing his craft, Syed built Marina Optics on one belief: every customer deserves the same care and expertise that a doctor gives a patient. Not a sale — a solution.
Today, Marina Optics operates 4 stores across Tamil Nadu and serves customers across India online. Syed continues to personally conduct free eye camps for those who cannot afford eye care — a tradition he has maintained since his hospital days.
